BLESS AFRICA - Covenant Gardens Project

Missions (Medical, Practical) - March 18-30, 2010 South Africa

Through Compassion for the Poor we are focused in the area of Nongoma in the KwaZulu-Natal province in South Africa, one of the highest HIV prevalent areas. The impact has left hundreds of children without parents or guardians to take care of their most basic needs.

Project "Covenant Gardens Orphange" is now under construction.  We will be able to house the first 100 children, providing for basic needs and education.  In the spirit of “Charity and Enterprise” our farming project for sustainability has also started with 8,000 cabbage plants, 2,000 spinach plants and 1,000 tomato plants.  We are planning to launch "Covenant Gardens" in March 19 2010.

 You can be a part of this exciting project.  Needed: 

1. $100,000USD to complete the construction
2. Electronic equipment – computers DVD’s VCR’s sound system telephones,
3. Facility equipment – vacuums, mops, brooms, lawnmower rakes, tools etc.
4. Furniture – tables, folding chairs, ceiling fans, desks, bunk beds, twin mattresses sheets blankets and pillow cases
5. Hardware – toilets, sinks, faucets, plumbing equipment, flooring, paint and painting supplies.
6. Medical – stretcher, wheel chair, medical supplies.
7. Transportation – Pickup truck.
8. Missionary team of medical, dental and pratical workers for the March 18-30, 2010 launch, missions and conference in Johannesburg.
